According to this slogan, we have developed an innovative product focused on the currently emphasized promotion of rail as an ecological means of transport, enabling the improvement of the passenger offer, implementation of the transport policy and at the same time contributing to environmental protection.

RailCar is a system that enables the launch of an innovative service for the temporary rental of an electric car, closely related to rail travel.

The use of the system involves placing electric RailCar cars at railway stations along with charging infrastructure.
Cars at stations will be available for rent by eligible passengers with a valid ticket with the option Railway +. Information on entitlements will be provided from the ticket systems of railway carriers, e.g. a ticket issued according to a dedicated special offer, entitling to rent a car.

You can rent a car using the RailCar mobile application after scanning or entering the ticket number in the application.

RailCar cars will be equipped with an innovative system of driving monitoring and user support ensuring a unique level of safety on the market, both for the user and the service operator. In crisis situations, the driver will be able to remotely connect with the support center operator who will be able to provide assistance, while having a full picture of the situation in which the vehicle is located, its location and a recording from the video recorder.

Safety

The RailCar service is fully monitored in terms of safety of use:

The position of the car is constantly monitored in the VOD Rail 3.0 management system
The car is monitored by a system of internal and external cameras. The VOD Rail 3.0 system allows remote live video stream from the vehicle and registration of all events for evidence purposes
There is a possibility of communication with the passenger and remote blocking of the vehicle in the event of using a service that is not in accordance with the regulations, e.g. departure outside the designated area.
The application may have optional validation using a payment card, which allows charging the card in specific cases of violation of the regulations, e.g. speeding, smoking in a vehicle, etc.
